Keepi is operated by Obscurium LLC ("Obscurium," "Keepi," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Keepi mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Adults Only
Keepi is intended only for individuals 18 years of age or older. The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
2. Information We Collect
A. Content stored locally on your device
Keepi is designed so that your greeting card photos, card images, notes, tags, memories, and similar personal content are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded by us to a cloud content-storage service as part of the core app experience.
Because this content is stored locally, it may be lost if your device is lost, damaged, reset, replaced, or if the app is deleted.
B. Account and authentication information
If you create an account, we may collect information such as:
- email address
- authentication identifiers
- account settings and preferences
- security-related account records
We may use Firebase Authentication or a similar authentication provider to help create and manage accounts and secure sign-in.
C. Subscription and purchase-related information
If you subscribe through Apple's App Store, Apple processes your payment transaction. We do not receive your full payment card information.
We may use RevenueCat to help manage subscriptions, confirm purchase status, restore purchases, and determine access to premium features. In connection with this, we or our service providers may process limited subscription-related information such as:
- app user ID or subscription identifier
- entitlement or subscription status
- purchase history related to your subscription
- technical details needed to validate and manage access
D. Diagnostics and crash information
We may use Sentry or a similar diagnostics provider to collect limited technical information needed to identify crashes, bugs, and performance issues, such as:
- device type
- operating system version
- app version
- error and crash logs
- limited diagnostic event data
We configure diagnostics tools to avoid sending unnecessary personal information where reasonably possible.
E. Support communications
If you contact us, we may collect your email address and the contents of your message, along with any information you choose to provide.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information we collect to:
- provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- authenticate users and secure accounts
- verify subscription status and provide premium features
- restore purchases where applicable
- respond to support requests
- troubleshoot crashes, bugs, and service issues
- protect against fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security risks
- comply with legal obligations
- improve the reliability and security of the Service
4. What We Do Not Do
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your card photos, notes, or memories for advertising profiles.
We do not intentionally upload your card-image library or memory content to our own cloud storage as part of the core Keepi experience, unless a feature is later introduced that clearly tells you otherwise.
5. How We Share Information
We may share limited information:
- with service providers that help us operate the Service, including authentication, subscription management, diagnostics, hosting, and support providers
- with Apple, to the extent needed for App Store billing and subscription functionality
- if required by law, legal process, or government request
- to protect the rights, property, safety, and security of Obscurium LLC, our users, or others
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, asset sale, or similar business transaction
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect account-related information and secure the Service using industry-standard practices. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Account Deletion and Your Choices
If you create an account, you may be able to:
- access and update certain account information
- manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account settings
- initiate account deletion within the app
- contact us with privacy-related questions
If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify account-related data we are not required to retain, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, and legitimate business needs.
Locally stored content on your device may remain under your control unless removed from the device or deleted with the app, depending on how the device and app are configured.
8. Third-Party Services
Keepi may rely on third-party services such as:
- Apple for App Store billing and subscription management
- Firebase Authentication for account sign-in and authentication
- RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management
- Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics
These services may process information under their own privacy policies and terms.
9. Data Retention
Because much of Keepi's content is stored locally on your device, we may not retain that content on our systems.
We retain account-related, subscription-related, support-related, and diagnostic information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required by law.
10. International Users
If you use the Service from outside the United States, you understand that account-related and technical information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated version and revise the Effective Date above. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the revised policy.
